Driving Advocacy & Strategic Alignment
As Nigeria marks 66 years of independence, the Abuja Tech Rally emphasizes that technology, local innovation, and youth ingenuity must remain central to national policy, economic planning, and infrastructure development.
The rally will bring together founders, community organizers, and tech professionals to foster cross-regional collaboration, strengthen ecosystem linkages, and demand greater institutional support for digital skills and technological sovereign capacity.
“This is more than a rally. It is an opportunity to create advocacy, strengthen connections, and amplify the voice of Nigeria’s technology ecosystem as we mark 66 years of Nigeria’s Independence. As we look towards the future, technology, innovation, and the creativity of our young people must remain part of the conversation about the Nigeria we are building.”
The Countdown to Abuja Tech Week 2026
The October 1st gathering also serves as the official curtain-raiser and mobilization rally for Abuja Tech Week 2026 (Abuja Tech & Digital Economy Week), Nigeria’s flagship regional technology conference scheduled to hold from 24th–26th November 2026.
The upcoming three-day flagship gathering will run under the central theme:
“ENERGIZING SMART MOBILITY: POWERING CITIES OF THE FUTURE”
The November conference will focus heavily on intelligent transportation systems, urban tech infrastructure, clean mobility transitions, and digital governance models needed to power future African smart cities.
