Build & Earn: ‘Bosun Tijani Foundation Launches Gen AI Fellowship Cohort 2 with ₦50,000 Monthly Stipend

The ‘Bosun Tijani Foundation has officially opened applications for Cohort 2 of its flagship Gen AI Fellowship. Founded by Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani, Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, the initiative offers aspiring technical talent a six-month “learn-and-earn” program designed to train the next wave of artificial intelligence engineers and product builders.

Following the launch of its inaugural cohort in Abeokuta, Cohort 2 expands access with training locations including hubs in Kano and Abeokuta.

🚀 Program Tracks & Curriculum

Applicants can select one of two specialized learning tracks based on their technical background and career goals:

1. AI Engineering Track

• Target Audience: Backend engineers, developers, and technical builders aiming to design and manage core AI systems.

• Key Skills Covered:

  • Machine learning fundamentals and model fine-tuning.

  • MLOps and infrastructure management.

  • Agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

  • Cloud deployment using AWS SageMaker, Docker, and enterprise toolkits.

  • AI security architecture and model optimization.

2. AI Application Track

• Target Audience: Software developers and product builders focused on integrating AI into consumer and business applications.

• Key Skills Covered:

  • Modern frontend frameworks using Next.js and React.

  • API integration for major LLM providers including OpenAI and Claude.

  • Product design and user experience (UX) tailored for AI tools.

  • Backend API development and database connectivity.
